Here comes another confirmed gift for the owners or would be owners of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. This is happening for the first time that any Nexus or Pixel device is going to get the Android version upgrades for next 3 years. Earlier, as per the rule, Google Nexus and Pixel devices are slated to “get security patches for at least 3 years from when the device first became available on the Google Store, or at least 18 months from when the Google Store last sold the device, whichever is longer.”

As per image posted on the Google’s Pixel 2 updates timeline it is revealed that both the devices are going to get the Android version upgrades for the next 3 years. It is now confirmed and users who are going to buy it need not to worry about the updates.

Talking about the first generation of Pixel devices, then they will get the final upgrade of Android P next year. After that, Google is not going to provide the Android version upgrade.

Talking about the Pixel 2 itself, right now, Google Pixel becoming available in most of the major countries like Australia, US, India and others. In India, they are emphasising on offline sales, rather than sticking to the Online. Many users picked up the issue of expensive pricing of USB 3.5 mm which later Google addressed by reducing the price to $9.

There are many pros that Google Pixel 2 is currently offering. They have got Live wallpapers which you can port on other devices also. Further, Google is offering unlimited photo storage option to store your photos online.

We are also very pleased with the Software tweaks that Google did with the latest Pixel 2 devices.
