Those running a beta version of Android Nougat should update to the latest OTA stable version. Google has recently pushed stable builds of Android 7.1.2 to all of those who were enrolled in the beta program.

The Android O Beta is expected to roll out to registered users some time later this month after Google I/O 2017 event, which may take place between May 17-19. The upcoming Android O preview should bring overall better stability and performance improvements to the operating system.

Despite Android O almost nearing launch, fragmentation remains a big issue for the Android ecosystem. A recent report claims that Nougat has only reached out to 7.1 percent of all Android devices globally. The company will hope that with the upcoming Android O, adoption rate will increase soon.
