Google is going to move the Google Glass to a new name “Project Aura”. It seems Google is going to speed up the development pace for the Google Glass as they hired few Ex-Amazon Engineers also.

Aura is working on the next incarnation of Glass, but the team is also developing other wearable technology, according to job descriptions on business-networking site LinkedIn. Google Glass is going to boost its developments under the same head, Ivy Ross, who previously ran the Glass project. She reports to Tony Fadell, head of Google’s connected-home business Nest, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Project Aura is not only about Google Glass it also home for some of Google’s weirder technology projects, including its virtual reality effort Google Cardboard, and gesture input technology which is known as Soli.

Hope in next upcoming months we will see something unexpected from Google. Also Google Glass version 2 is in developments, so we need to wait for it to check the work of new team.
