Google Hangouts for Android gets the Video Messaging Support

Google finally rolls out the video messaging support to Hangouts App for Android. However, Hangouts v11 hasn’t hit Google Play just yet, but  APK Mirror we can early access to this feature.

It is just like we are sending photos,  the option to send videos lie on the bottom bar. A simple tap will open up your camera to record and then send the video via Hangouts. As the video sends you’ll be able to see upload progress and processing before the video can be played back through other apps on your device.

Meanwhile the Google Hangouts iOS App already gets this video messaging support 2 years back. One more thing is that just today Google updated Hangouts on iOS to support videos up to 2 minutes,  but for now it seems Android will be limited to only 1 minute. This shows Google is giving better apps on iOS platform.
