Google Home and Home Mini are now Official in India: All You Need to Know

A few days back we have covered an entire story about the leaks of Google Home and Home Mini India launch. Google was giving hints for a long about the launch of these devices and fortunately, they have been officially announced today. These devices are here to give a tough competition to the existing Amazon Alexa devices which are retailing for an attractive price here. So without wasting any time let’s check out some detailed information about its pricing and availability.

It’s been more than a year since the devices were launched in other countries like the U.S and now Google has launched it in India. Although the devices here comes with Indian specific offerings like a six-month free subscription to Google Play Music. There are  additional attractive offers for services like Gaana and Saavn. Home and Home Mini will be made available online through an exclusive retailer, Flipkart, however, these devices are expected to retail from more than 750 stores in the country.

All major store chains in India will offer it with different benefits like Reliance Digital. THe digital Reliance store is offering these devices with JioFi router along with 100GB’s of 4G data. While on the other hand, Flipkart is giving away a JioFi router with it. They are great futuristic devices and can make your daily life easier by organizing your works, playing music, by describing food recipes, setting alarms, etc.

Google Home Pricing details

The bigger Google Home is available in Chalk color only whereas the smaller version will come in Charcoal, Chalk and Coral color in future. Importantly, Google Home is priced at 9,999 INR and the Home Mini for a tag of 4,499 INR. The prices here are a little high compared to the U.S pricing. You can get an additional 10% discount on them if the mode of payment will be HDFC credit card.
