Google has finally made Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 official at a launching event in San Francisco. This is Google’s second hardware event, last year at the maiden voyage of the Hardware event, Google took of the wraps from Pixel, Pixel XL, Google Home, Daydream VR and many other astonishing products.
This time, they have come with many new devices and particularly Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.
Google Pixel 2 XL
First, talking about the more premium device, i.e Pixel 2 XL. It resmeebles little to LG V30 if we have a look at its 18:9 ratio P-Oled display. The 6 inch display much taller and have little thicker edges because of the stereo speakers. This huge P-OLed display has display resolution of 1,440 x 2,880px with 538 ppi pixel density. It also packs ALways on display with Android 8.0 Oreo ion board.
It comes packed with Snapdragon 835 on board with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. Further, there’s a 128 GB ROM option available for those who want more storage. There’s a 3520 mAh of battery which can easily keep your device charged for a day even after full throttle usage.
Coming to the camera, Pixel 2 XL packs 12 MP OIS sensor with next fen image processing. It packs same technology of the Pixel Visual Core as liked of the Pixels 2016. There’s same 8MP camera on the front side which resembles the old Pixel. There seems to be little disappointment among fans as Google has ditched the dual camera module and has sticked to the single camera on the rear side as like of the Pixel XL.
To protect your device against any bad time, Google has protected its display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Further, it is IP67 certified which means it is dust and water resistant.selfie cam seem unchanged with its 8MP sensor and f/2.4 aperture. It packs pressure sensitive gestures as like of the HTC U11.

Talking about the Pixel 2, it is a 5 inch device with the similar display as like of the Pixel 2 XL. It can feel the pressure on its sides, as like of the HTC U11 ‘s gestures at sides feature.

There’s same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor on board with OIS enabled camera.
The Google Pixel 2 will also launch in the middle of next month at a starting price of $650 (a $100 bill buys you double the storage). The color options are called Kindla Blue, Just Black and Clearly White.
