Google is rolling out a significant update to the Google Maps with new Material UI. Many features, which were announced at Google IO 2018 are now rolling out in a phasing manner to different times via different updates. The latest has added a new user Interface abiding the rules of Material Design. The update is said to be rolling out from the server side but there’s might be a catch with version also.

Many things have been changed in the new version of the Google Maps. Users can see new buttons, layouts and fonts which are more brighter and cleaner than earlier. The ease of using the app is also increased with the relocation of the buttons position. From the square buttons, the focus has shifted to round buttons.

Also, there’s a tab for personal recommendations, which is also an important feature of this update.
