Google’s team did put in their fair share of effort to expand the number of covered locations. According to the Google Maps team, their latest collaboration has resulted in traffic condition coverage being made available for Norway, New Zealand, and Hong Kong, keeping the US as well as 13 other European countries company.
The company first rolled out the feature in 2008 and has worked to expand the locations that it covers. Using Google Maps on a mobile phone running Android is a huge selling point for the device, but it appears that Google might be losing its foothold on running the Maps app on iOS.
