google's new service 'account activity' introduced

In an effort to seem like they actually care about your privacy, the company announced today on its blog that you can now receive “Account Activity” reports in your inbox. While it doesn’t really offer any benefits – at least not directly, you can use it to improve your account security. I.e. if you notice logins from a country that you’ve never been to, maybe it’s time you change your password or enable 2-step verification.
