Google’s Project Glass Undergoes Public Testing, Future Glasses Revealed

Google Project Glass, a heads-up display that has already undergone public testing. ProjectGlass is basically an augmented reality system which will enable users to enjoy the entire range of activities that can be done via a smartphone device, save for the fact that you do not need any smartphone to pull it off this time around.

The glasses are not yet ready for sale. Google will, however, be testing them in public.

In a post shared on Google Plus, employees from Google X, including Babak Parviz, Steve Lee and Sebastian Thrun, asked people for input about the prototype of Project Glass. Mr. Lee, a Google engineer and creator of the Google mapping software Latitude, is helping build the location-based aspects of the glasses.
