As its 3rd January 2018 today Google starts rolling out Android security patch for the month of January. The update is rolling out on whole Pixel series and couple of Nexus devices. Update includes the bug fixes and security improvements in the Android System.
The update includes the fixes for 20 issues resolved in the January security patchdated 2018-01-01 and 18 in the 2018-01-05 one. Vulnerabilities range from high to critical, with the most severe relating to the media framework and possibly permitting a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code through a “crafted file.”
