The changelog mentions that there’s a new “What’s Hot” section under Stream, a “trending topics” for href=”http://google.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Google”>Google+, basically. Now Scrolling Down is easier. Also, the app no longer jumps to the top of the feed when it refreshes, making it less, well, annoying. That’s not the only thing they’ve added, though. You can now view who +1′d a post or comment, whereas before you could only view the amount of +1′s for comments and only the first person who +1′d your post.

The newly-updated Google+ (download) is available now in the Android Market.
