Huawei and its sub-brand, Honor are combinedly flourishing the Indian market with their plethora of new smartphones. Today, Huawei has launched its new mid-range offering – the Huawei Y9 (2019) at ₹ 15,999 in India. The smartphone is powered by HiSilcon Kirin 710 which we can consider as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 equivalent.

Getting straight into the what all the Huawei Y9 packs under-the-hood. It comes only in one storage variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Thankfully, the provision to expand storage via MicroSD card in deed is present on the device. As mentioned above, the Y9 is powered by Kirin 710 chipset fabricated based on 10nm node. The SoC delivers improved performance without sucking more juice from the battery.

You might be surprised to know that the Huawei Y9 possess a massive 6.5 inch display with a notch. The FullView display panel of 19.5 aspect ratio offers 1080×2340 (FHD+) resolution. So the contents should be sharp, clear with visibly no pixelation.

Keeping up the lights-on of the device is a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Needless to say, the Huawei Y9 offers all the quintessential connectivity options including Dual Active VoLTE, Wi-Fi l, Bluetooth and so on. As far as its build is considered, the device is encased in a glass back with metal frames.
