HMD launches Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6(2018) in India

Today, HMD Global officially released the three devices in India at a launch event in New Delhi. Since the AndroidGO powered Nokia 1 is already available in India, now it’s time for the Nokia 8, 6 (2018) and 7 Plus to hit the lucrative Indian market. The trio being Android One devices, should gather much acceptance among the natives.

As Indians prefer value over money, let’s begin with the Nokia 6 (2018). The aluminum-clad design flaunting device is priced at INR 16,999 ($260). Well, it seems to be a reasonable pricing for the Snapdragon 630 powered mid-ranger. However, given the popularity and craze for the Xiaomi Note 5 Pro among Indians, the device will be having a tough competition ahead.

Moving onto the another mid-ranger, Nokia 7 Plus. The launch price tag of the device is INR 25,999 ($400). Powered by the same Mobile Platform seen on the Nokia 6(2018), it’s priced higher because of its improved features. Flaunting the modern 18:9 aspect ratio with dual-camera set-up and enough storage spaces(both RAM and ROM). The device also seems to be a good competitive pricing.

Nokia 7 Plus 

The beast, Nokia 8 Sirocco occupies the flagship segment. Competitively priced at INR 49,999 ($770), the device ought to have an adverse effect on the Galaxy S9 and S9+ sale in the segment. It seems, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is the least costly device with snapdragon,Which you can get on the sub-continent as of now.

As far the availability of the trio are in consideration. The Nokia 6(2018) will be available for purchase Nokia Mobile Shop and select mobile outlets starting from April 6.
