Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei is prepping to launch Honor 9X Series devices in coming days. A week or so ago, the specs of Honor 9X Pro leaked out in the web. Now, the same source which revealed the Honor 9X Pro key specs has come up with certain info about the standard Honor 9X as well.

As per the Chinese tipster monikered as Teme(@RODENT950) on Twitter, the Honor 9X too will be powered by the latest Kirin 810 SoC based on 7nm process, just like its Pro edition. The specialty of the Kirin 810 is that it had outperformed both Qualcomm’s competing Snapdragon 730 and 855 processors in an artificial intelligence (AI) benchmark test and another test run by the Antutu benchmarking software. Keeping the Kirin 810 prowess away as of now, the Honor 9X packs other goodies as per the leak capable enough to give tough competition in upper mid-range segment.
As of the other specs revealed by Teme, the Honor 9X might come with “6.5”-6.7″ LCD display. The device is expected to flaunt Sony’s 48MP IMX582 primary camera accompanied by 8MP super-wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. Note that, its Pro version is tipped to come with an additional 2MP macro lens as well. As of the front camera, the Honor 9X should get a 20MP lonely sensor instead of the 25MP on the Pro edition.
Moreover, though a bummer the Honor 9X doesn’t support any sort of fast charging capability and goes with the normal 10 w charging.
