HP SlateBook x2 Android Tablet Announced; Packs Android 4.2 And Tegra 4 Processor

After HP Slate 7, HP has announced two tablet devices named — Slatebook X2 and Split X2. Well clearing your thoughts, Slatebook x2 is an Android based tablet while Split x2 is a windows hybrid pc and both will arrive this August. According to HP Slatebook x2 is a “two-in-one device” that has a keyboard dock.

Its the first device after NVIDIA’s own Shield to use the Tegra 4 SoC along with 1920×1200 IPS 10 inch screen. Its 64GB of storage allows you to store as much as you want and it also ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. HP also quoted that “HP’s push to offer access to the Google experience”. Further the docking station has a full keyboard and trackpad, along with a USB port, SDcard slot and an additional battery to charge the tablet. It weighs 2.8 pounds.

Currently its not clear that HP will give keyboard along with it but according to the Press release tThe SlateBook x2 will be available in August in the US for $479.99.
