HTC is in talks with Google in hopes of being selected as the next OEM to produce a Nexus phone which is expected to be powered by Android 5.0 news came Via Tech Radar. Google is no where near a decision on who will make the next Nexus. HTC, as well as every other major smartphone company, is crossing their fingers still.
“Google hasn’t chosen its Nexus partner for (Android) Jellybean as yet. So right now all the manufacturers are crossing their fingers.”
Being selected to be the next Nexus manufacturer is a big deal, but Jeff Gordon stressed that HTC’s current priority is to deliver Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and HTC Sense 3.6 to its current devices.
We’re not sure why, but Tech Radar has take down their article.
