HTC is working on a U 11 Mini with Snapdragon 660 and Edge Sense [Rumor]

This week we heard about two OEMs Samsung & LG planning to bring slimmed down versions of their flagships. Now, a third is about to join them. HTC is planning to launch a watered down version of its flagship U11. The news comes from a tipster on Twitter known as LlabTooFeR. He is usually accurate with his predictions.

Not only that, our informant also has some specs of the alleged smartphone in his locker. According to him, the U11 Mini as this phone will be called will be a mid-ranger. As mid-rangers this year are expected to boast of the new Snapdragon 660 chip, this one from HTC will too. The phone from HTC will have a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution. While the cameras are expected to be 16 MP shooters for the front and the back. HTC hopes to run the phone with a 2,600 mAh battery, our source believes. It will also be equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The tipster has also posted some tweets listing features like HTC Sense 9, Edge Sense, and USonic earphones will come with the device.

The leak does leave a lot to be desired. As it doesn’t speak about the RAM, the design, or the price & availability of the U 11 Mini. But seeing that these leaks are just starting, there will be much more.
