HTC yesterday announced its new HTC One X variant. We can even say upgraded version of HTC One X known as HTC One X+. We reminded you about its various rumors and pics but now HTC officially announced this device.

This new HTC One + offers a quad-core Tegra 3 chip that runs at 1.7GHz, a slight upgrade from the 1.5GHz chip on the original model. It also features the latest Jelly Bean version of Android with Sense 4+ onboard, along with a higher-capacity battery and more storage. HTC has upgraded the internal storage on the One X+ to 64GB from 32 GB in previous version. HTC claims that its battery (of 2100mAh) have longest battery life yet—up to 50% longer—with high-stamina performance and up to 6 hours more talk time.

The One X+ is slated to launch globally this fall, hitting Europe and Northern Asia this October, with a November rollout in South Asia to follow.

Availability
The HTC One™ X+ will be available in Europe and North Asia from October and in South Asia from November 2012. North America will make a separate announcement regarding availability of the HTC One™ X+. The Android Jelly Bean with HTC™ Sense 4+ update is scheduled to begin rolling out for the HTC One™ S and HTC One™ X from October.
