HTC Q4 2016 Report Shows $101 Million Loss

Here’s a disappointing news for HTC fans, users and investors as company has again got into troubled waters with a loss of $101 Million.

HTC’s loss is still continuing since past few years. It seems HTC is still troubling to gain momentum with some new devices. The one reason behind the loss is the flopping up of its flagship device. HTC One A9 gained momentum but the profits were slim. Even the overall generated revenue is increased but the gross profit still declines. Total revenue came in at NT$25.7 billion ($766 million), which is up nearly 20 percent quarter-on-quarter but down a massive 46 percent year-on-year.

HTC said it had “good momentum” with its Desire line, while the One A9 was supposedly “well received” across the world.

Well, hope HTC would soon recover from losses as they have slimmed down the net loss in the fourth quarter as compared to other quarters of same fiscal year.

Also, HTC is moving hands to some other stuff like VR. They have launched HTC Vive Pre VR at CES 2016. We hope they will manage those loses with some other devices in different field.
