A small firmware update has been rolled out be HTC and this one is aimed for HTC’s current flagship, the HTC One M8. The update is available over-the-air for you if you own an HTC One M8 in Europe and dont worry if your smartphone can’t detect one,the update is still in the process of being rolled out and our smartphone will automatically notify you when it is available for you to download and install.
The update, which measures about 44MB takes your software build number to 2.22.401.5 and carries some minor bug-fixes along with a “GPS performance update”. Though we haven’t seen people reporting the GPS issues on their HTC One M8, we suggest you install the update on your phone.
However, dont worry if your smartphone doesnt notify you of the update. Over-the-air updates can sometimes take times to be available to everybody out their. So if you haven’t got it yet, wait for it.
