huawei announced its all new y6(2018) with 18:9 display

In case you guys don’t know Y-series from Huawei is dedicated to budget devices and new Y6 follows the same legacy. The handset comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz coupled with 2GB of RAM along with an Adreno 506 GPU for Gaming. So this time you are not getting a Hi-Silicon Kirin SoC. It offers 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via micro-SD card. Fingerprint Scanner is omitted this time and instead of that, you have to rely on Face Unlock.

Don’t get mislead by the design as in the rear only a 13MP single sensor is there with an LED Flash while in the front a 5MP snapper is located for selfies. The device runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo which is appreciable. In terms of Display, there is a massive 5.7(inch) 18:9 ratio HD+ IPS screen with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, covering it is a 2.5D glass. The device gets juice from a 3000 mAh battery and for charging nothing like fast charging has been used.

The device will be made available in Blue, Gold and Black colors. Y6(2018) is expected to retail for a price around of around $200. Pricing has not been officially announced yet, however, the device will make its way to regions like Philippines and Russia first. Nothing about Global rollout has been disclosed by the brand, for more Tech updates stay tuned to us.
