From past few years, Huawei follows the trend of launching two flagship devices a year. Usually, The P series gets announced in the first quarter whereas the Mate series’s announcement takes place in the last quarter.
As the last quarter has started, Huawei is now gearing up to launch the new Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro on October 16.It is touting to pack some AI capabilities with other high end features. Well, nothing is spared from the eyes of media. Every Time, OEMs fail to make their new devices a secret from the users and fans.
This time also same is happening, the renders of the Mate 10 Pro just got posted online by veteran leaker Evan Blass few days back. And now, we have the live pictures of this upcoming device which were posted on Weibo.
The Mate 10 Pro is expected to come with 5.9 inches AMOLED QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 . It will be powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. It will be available in 6GB RAM with 64GB/128/256 GB of internal storage. Moreover the phone is also comes in 8GB RAM with 256 GB of internal storage.
For optics, it will have a dual camera setup co-engineered with Leica consisting of RGB and monochrome sensors at the back with f/1.6 aperture. The megapixel count will be 12 and 20 respectively. At the front, it will have a 8MP snapper for selfies. It will be also IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. Finally, the whole package will be backed by a massive 4,000 mAh battery within a 7.5 mm body.
