Huawei P30 and P30 Pro starts getting stable EMUI 10 Update

Huawei has started rolling out EMUI 10 based on Android 10 to its flagship phones i.e. Huawei P30 And P30 Pro. The update with EMUI version 10.0.0.166 is currently rolling out on both beta and non-beta users in China. That means the other phones of the company i.e. Mate 20 series and Honor 20 series, will also get the update by the end of November 2019.

Talking about the Huawei P30 update, if you’re regular user then the update will take your device from version 9.1.0.26 to 10.0.0.166. The update size is about 5GB for regular users. Whereas if you’re a beta tester than the update will take your device from version 10.0.0.159 to 10.0.0.166. And the size will be around 1GB only.

If we talk about EMUI 10, it is based on the latest Android 10. EMUI 10 has some improvements in the user interface. In other features, EMUI 10 includes a dark mode that can adjust the contrast according to the conditions. The camera app is also getting some improvements. The new update now supports the colorful Always-on display.

Note: Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users must install the October 2019 security patch update (that is already rolled out) to get the EMUI 10 update.

Other regions might get EMUI 10 updates in the coming few days. If you’re in China and did not receive the update notification. Then you can check it manually by going through the Settings>> about phone >> update.
