A few months back Huawei has revealed its Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones after which a lot of devices from various OEMs has arrived. These devices were among the first to feature a Neural Processing Unit for AI(Artificial Intelligence) functions. These days Face Unlock has become a common feature in all budget as well as premium devices but these handsets were lacking in it. The latest update rolled out to Huawei Mate 10 has brought this feature to the device.
Since the launch of the device, Huawei has rolled out multiple updates to it. Huawei is very sensitive when it comes to their flagship handsets due to which they rapidly fix existing issues. This new update brings a couple of improvements to the device including the major Face Recognition feature. Along with this, the new software brings March Security Patch 2018 to the device. The new security features will prevent the device from various vulnerabilities.
The update carries a build number B128-SP2(220.127.116.11), it is arriving as an OTA(Over the Air) update. This new software refines certain things in the settings menu including adjusting the position of some options, the color temperature is now offered in color mode settings. This fresh update is currently arriving on the Chinese units of the device with a model number ALP-AL00. Later we are expecting this update to arrive on the global units of the device as well. Huawei has also fixed the issues related to WeChat messenger app which earlier causes problems with the device.
