We have witnessed in 2018 that how smartphones are evolving with the time. The things were started with the 18:9 ratio display and finally on the Find X and Nex devices we have seen a massive panel with almost zero bezels. The best thing is that with this design language notch has been eliminated entirely. Now some more surprising information is there and is coming from the house of a gigantic Chinese brand Huawei. As per recent talks, Huawei is working on a smartphone display with an embedded camera in it. Yes, you’ve heard it right, so let’s know more about it.
This implementation appears similar to that of the In-Screen Fingerprint Scanner. Selfie Camera placement has always been a problem for the bezel-less device due which providing a notch becomes mandatory. To eliminate this thing Huawei may come with a solution in which they would have a hole left for the camera and as per reports that hole will be surrounded by the display which will give that seamless look to the device.
At present it sounds a little hollow, however, the tech world is highly uncertain and anything is possible here. This display will measure 6.39 (inches) in size and will be an LCD grade panel. As suggested by the rumors Huawei is planning to launch it by the Q4 of this year. No visible render has been disclosed yet, so for now, we are relying on the textual based information. We are waiting for the brand to break the silence but it seems that they will take their time. For more Tech updates stay tuned to GoAndroid.
