Hyundai announced its new Android Wear App which will allow Hyundai users to start – stop their vehicle’s engine just by a command from this blue link app based wear device. Hyundai also said that they will be showcasing this app at the CES booth along with other devices lined up.
The best thing is that this Wear up device will be able to work by Voice also. Its quite interesting that shortly, we have a device in our hands with which we can start our vehicle just by a device and our voice. Not only we will be able start and stop vehicle’s engine, other facilities are also expected to be provided by this blue link application. It is said that the App will provide its users with following features:
- Remote Engine Start
- Remote Engine Stop (Only available when vehicle is in remote engine start mode)
- Remote Door Lock / Unlock
- Remote Flash Lights / Honk Horn
- Car Finder
- Call Roadside
- Call Blue Link
Not only users will be able to start and stop their vehicle’s engine by voice command but they will also the facility to lock and unlock their doors, on and off their vehicles’s flash lights, will be able to locate their car by using GPS service , roadsides calls via blue link will also be available to the users.
All the above said function will function with your voice command . Users of this application are allowed to say the command in plain English like “lock my car”. Also, for advanced and some more features users can tap on the buttons on their wear up device. The Android Wear device will have to be tethered via Bluetooth to an Android smartphone which will be running the official Blue Link app (available for free on the Play Store).
