Samsung may have been the first to get an Android 4.0 phone to market, but that was one of Google’s bleeding-edge Nexus phones. But now, Galaxy S2, would be on the receiving end of the latest Android operating system, which is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
It now looks as though that work is nearly done. A representative from Samsung Israel took to the company’sthis week to confirm that the update would drop on the 15th of March.
”We promised we were working on it. You waited patiently. And on 15 March it’ll arrive: Android version 4, ICS, to tens of thousands of GALAXY S II devices purchased from cellular companies in the country or directly from us. We are very excited for the launch, hope you are too ”
