ICS for Samsung Galaxy S2 Comming Soon

Samsung may have been the first to get an Android 4.0 phone to market, but that was one of Google’s bleeding-edge Nexus phones. But now, Galaxy S2, would be on the receiving end of the latest Android operating system, which is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

It now looks as though that work is nearly done. A representative from Samsung Israel took to the company’s Facebook wall this week to confirm that the update would drop on the 15th of March.

”We promised we were working on it. You waited patiently. And on 15 March it’ll arrive: Android version 4, ICS, to tens of thousands of GALAXY S II devices purchased from cellular companies in the country or directly from us. We are very excited for the launch, hope you are too  ”

Although history does seem to suggest that other European markets might just be on the receiving end of the update slightly earlier.

  1. Will the Android 4 ICS Update be an international or local to Israel??
Even in the US, they said it would be released on the 10th of march and then they changed it to TBA,,
Please notify me on my G+ : my.little.sanjoub@gmail.com if the update will cover Saudi Arabia.
