This week, starting from 1st October, Amazon India, Flipkart and other eRetailers in India are offering Festival deals. Various Festivals are on the brink and always this time of the year remains best for e Retailers to host sales.
Similarly, Redmi devices also went on sale at great discounts. So, as per the official figures revealed by Xiaomi via a tweet, over 500,000 Xiaomi Redmi phones have been sold in the country in just three days.
“More than six months of rigorous planning and hard work has helped us set a new benchmark in the industry,” said Manu Jain, Xiaomi’s India head. “Last year we sold more than half a million phones in 30 days during the month of October, and this year we were able to achieve a similar number within three days. Based on what we know, no other brand has ever achieved this in India.”
This is huge achievement for the Xiaomi in India.
