Indian Mobile Congress 2017 Inaugural Ceremony kicked-off


With the Grand Opening of country’s largest platform connecting internet, mobile and technology, today. The Indian Mobile Congress 2017, marked another milestone in the history of India’s technological advancement. The opening ceremony held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi was made auspicious by the presence of senior authorities and other major business tycoons of India.

The Chief Guest – Hon’ble Minister Shri Manoj Sinha, Ministry of Communication(Dept. of Telecommunications) inaugurated the event in the warm presence of Guest of Honour Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad – Hon’ble Minister of Electronics and IT and Law and Justice, Hon’ble Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Shri Priyank Kharge, Mr. K.T Rama Rao and other hon’ble Ministers of India handling various departments.

Moreover, the event marked the strong presence of senior industry leaders and key sponsors such as Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Mr. Mukesh Ambani, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla and Mr. Vittorio Amedeo(via video conferrence) Colao to name some.

IMC 2017 Highlights

The Indian Mobile Congress, which often used to happen on an yearly basis includes showcasing of technological prowess and advancements along with the presentation on future innovations. Basically, this years IMC event includes a conclave, an exhibition and an awards ceremony, and also has thematic pavillions and innovations zones.

On this major technological event, themes like “Digital India”, “Internet Governence”, “Smart Network”, “Digital World”, “Women in tech” and many other technology related aspects are discussed elaborately and addressed. Ultimately, the three day event comprising of 21 sections will bid farewell with flying colours on 29th of this month after rewarding us with the lots of interesting things and new innovations.
