Jio Phone launched by Reliance a short time ago was a huge success for the brand. Reliance with its Jio Phone has literally proved that how a brand can provide a phone full of features at the cost of a pen drive. Recently at an event Reliance has presented the successor of the Jio Phone better known as the Jio Phone 2. The device packs huge improvements in terms of design and features. Today we are back with some fresh information according to which the phone will go on sale starting from 16th of August. So without making any delay let’s know more about it.

As revealed by the brand officially the device will go on sale through via a Flash Sale. Unlike the old model, this device comes with a QWERTY keyboard design which is almost vanished from the market. Jio Phone 2 has a 2.4(inch) QVGA Display and the handset comes with Dual-SIM support which wasn’t available on its old sibling. The device comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage which luckily is expandable.

The handset still runs on Kai OS which is not a problem. In the rear, it sports a 2MP camera whereas in the front a negligible 0.3MP VGA camera is provided. The device, fortunately, supports all connectivity features including 4G VoLte, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB 2.0, 3.5mm jack, etc. Running the device is a 2000mAh battery.
