Latest Magisk 20.3 includes hotfix for bootloop on some devices

Merely a week after the release of Magisk 20.2 which has been plagued with some sort of bugs on certain devices, Topjohnwu is back with another update. Magisk 20.3 is live now with a hotfix for the bootloop issue as you’d expect. So, if you’re the one to get pissed by the previous stable release being a bootloop source, then this release should be the need of the hour.latest magisk 20.3 includes hotfix for bootloop on some devices

The Magisk 20.3 is a maintenance release and comes with little or no other improvements. Nonetheless, take a look at the changelog of both the Magisk core and the Magisk Manager which is now updated to 7.5.1.

Changelog

Magisk v20.3

  • [MagiskBoot] Fix lz4_legacy decompression

Magisk Manager v7.5.1

  • Fix toggling app components in MagiskHide screen
  • Update translations

Nothing spicy in the changelog to be described. Anyway, the fix for lz4_legacy decompression should help the users affected with the previous release.

Within the previous release, BiometricPrompt API support has been the notable upgrade. It literally enabled the Pixel 4 users to grant root using the Face authentication. Moreover, Magisk v20.2 added support for modules to include its own custom policy patches and a new module installer format.
