Lenovo A6000 4G LTE To Be Launched On 16 Jan Below Rs.10000

Lenovo A6000, smartphone with 4G connectivity was unveiled at this CES held in Las Vegas and is expected to be launched in India on Friday, January 16. At CES, company price tagged the device at $169 (roughly 10,500.00). Launch of this smartphone is expected to affect the sales of Micromax Yu Yureka and Xiaomi’s MI5 (these are expected to be launched on January 13 and January 15 respectively). Device will be exclusively available on Flipkart for sale. Though the smartphone is given a price tag of $169.00 which is nearly about Rs.10,500.00 ,flipkart announced that “below Rs. 10,000 in India.”. 64-bit Qualcomm  processor is the main attraction of device.

Coming to the specification of the handset, Lenovo A6000 has 5 inch HD IPS display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Device is powered with 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage with no option to expand it. Smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with battery capacity of 2300mAh which is expected to deliver 13 hours of talk time and 264 hours stand by on 3G. Handset also includes Rear camera of 8 MP with LED flash light support and Front Camera of 2 MP.

Device which was showcased at CES 2015 is not compatible with the Indian Spectrum for 4 G network and hence company will launch its variant which will include the feature to make it 4G compatible in India as well. Device supports dual micro SIM. Display of the smartphone is smaller than both Micromax Yu Kera and Xiaomi,s MI5 which is 5.5 inches for both.
