An upcoming smartphone from Lenevo named Lenovo K8 Plus has been spotted on the Geekbench listings today. It was the under the list of device benchmarks and it reveals some of the essential specs of the K8 Plus. Apparently, the device would be powered by an octa core Mediatek MT6757CD SoC (Helio P25) processor and also has a 3 GB RAM.
The list also mentions that the device will launch with the latest version of Android Nougat 7.1.1. Lenovo had recently announced that it is planning to ditch the Vibe UI for Stock Android for a more smoother experience. So you could expect the Lenovo K8 Plus to launch with the stock version of Android instead of Lenovo’s proprietary Vibe UI.
Even Though the Vibe UI of Lenovo had a lot of interesting features like themes and customization options, switching to stock Android might be a good decision. This is because quicker updates could be expected and the phone would be free from performance issues. However, we have to wait till further announcements from Lenovo to know for sure what the Lenovo K8 Plus would be based on.
We have to wait and watch for the official announcement. How many of you are waiting for the Lenovo K8 Plus?
