Lenovo unveils Z6 Pro 5G at MWC Shanghai

Lenovo is a well-known PC brand but the company also makes smartphones which are not popular these days. Back in April, it launched Z6 Pro, a high-end smartphone with top of the line specifications. Now at MWC Shanghai, the company unveils a 5G variant of the Z6 Pro.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G comes with the same specifications as the regular model. But it features an extra Qualcomm Snapdragon x50 modem to support 5G connectivity. The rest of the features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. At the front, the phone sports a 6.39 inches HDR10 certified AMOLED display with a teardrop notch that houses a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The fingerprint sensor of the phone resides under the display like any other high-end flagship smartphones these days.

At the back, the device sports a quad camera array that includes a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 16MP ultrawide shooter with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP TOF(Time Of Flight) 3D camera. The phone also comes with a headphone jack which is uncommon these days with Dolby Atmos Sound. Last but not least, it runs on ZUI11 based on Android Pie and is backed by a massive 4,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Lenovo also unveiled the world’s first 5G laptop powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx processor alongside the Z6 Pro 5G. However, the company did not announce anything about the launch date for any of these products.
