LG Sold 60 Million Smartphones In 2015; Q4 2015 Reports Out

LG has sold 60 Million Smartphones in 2015 and overall the actual loss has decreased as compared to last year and even last quarter of 2014. The South Korean company sold 59.7 million units, slightly up from the 59.1 million number it achieved in 2014.

As per the report published LG’s fourth-quarter 2015 operating profit stood at KRW 349 billion (USD 301.38 million) which is 27 percent increase from the same period in 2014. LG’s net loss came to 140.4 billion won ($117 million) for the fourth quarter, compared with 205.6 billion won in Q4 2014.

LG Electronics as a whole recorded revenues of 56.51 trillion ($48.8 billion), and an operating income of 1.19 trillion won ($1.03 billion) for 2015, both down from 2014.

If we compare LG’s sales in Q3 and A4 then there’s slight boost in sales of around 12 percent quarter on quarter, as North American consumers rushed to pick up LG’s latest flagship V10 smartphone.

We hope soon LG will gain profits in 2016 and we got to know that LG is coming with two new flagship devices this year.

There are lot of expectations of users from LG about upcoming devices. So we hope they will provide devices up to the user’s demands.
