The budget smartphone which are a result of Google’s collaboration with three Indian smartphone manufacturers namely Micromax,Karbonn and Spice have been launched only in India as of now and the response so far has been very good. The figure does not seen much when compared to other flagship smartphone sales but considering the smartphone’s prove and the fact that it has only been launched in India as of now, the 2 million figures sure seems impressive.

MediaTek has been providing the three smartphone manufacturers with the Cortex-A7 chips that they use in the android one smartphones. While these smartphone don’t offer the best features out there, they run the latest version of android and coming from Google also means they will also be receiving the latest updates like the Nexus devices.
