Meizu, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all set to launch its latest smartphone, the Meizu Pro 7 on July 26. However, a week ahead of its launch, the device was spotted on TENAA and some of its specs have been revealed in this leak. The leak confirms that it has a secondary display on the rear.
The Meizu Pro 7 is the first smartphone from Meizu to sport a dual back camera with 12 Megapixel IMX386 sensors by Sony. The device will also sport a Helio X30 10nm Mediatek processor along with a 5.2 inch Full HD display.
In a video leak, it is revealed that the secondary display on the rear is a touch LCD panel. It is touted to use a display important information like weather, date, time and pedometer readings. It might also be used to display notifications from apps like the LG V20 did with its secondary display.
The Meizu Pro 7 comes in 2 separate variants while the 6 GB RAM and 64GB version costs CNY2,799 ($413). The more powerful 8 GB RAM and 128GB version is priced at CNY 3,299 ($486). Meizu will also release a Meizu Pro Plus version later and it is expected to be priced between CNY3,299 ($486) to CNY3,799 ($560).
