If you’re eagerly waiting for an Android GO powered smartphone like us. It seems, our wait may end soon as Micromax would launch Bharat GO, an Android GO device probably later this month. The Bharat GO could be the first Android GO powered device to be launched, at least in India if not in the entire globe.

Though nothing is concrete about the details of the device as of now, it’s expected to be a low-end device priced around ₹2,000. Since, Android GO platform is developed for entry-level devices in consideration, the Bharat GO ought to have RAM size of 512MB or 1GB at the maximum.

It’s good to see Google partnering with India based smartphone manufacturers to accomplish its initiatives. Recall that, Indian brands such as Micromax, Lava and Karbonn were a once part of the initial Android One program by Google.
