A good dose of our information about upcoming devices comes from benchmarking websites. Geekbench, one of the most popular benchmarking websites has been kind enough to give us information about another upcoming device and this one comes from Xiaomi.
Dubbed mido, this mid-ranger from Xiaomi was recently spotted on Geekbench. The device reportedly comes with 2 GB RAM and runs on Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.02 GHz. The listing does not reveal much about the device except this information. And yes, the device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 which should come as a relief to Xiaomi fans.
Rumors suggest the device is a smaller variant of the upcoming Redmi 4 but don’t take their word for it. Rumors can be incorrect too. Just like the ones about the Chinese variant of the Note7 coming with 6 GB of RAM, which we now know is not true.
