In June, smartphone giant Motorola had done something that really fascinated Moto X Play users. The Lenovo owned company sent the Moto X Play users directly the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update. Now whats’s so different about sending updates.
The different part here is that Motorola had skipped the Android 7.0 Nougat update and directly sent the higher one 7.1.1. Earlier Moto X Play was running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. So, Moto skipped all the updates in the middle and directly sent the Android 7.1.1.
But Motorola doesn’t want to stop amusing it’s users and what we hear is that it will soon send Android 7.1.2 Nougat update. Now, I know you guys must be thinking how we know this. Recently, Moto X Play made an appearance over GFXBench the benchmarking website. And there it showed the device running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. So what we feel is that the device will soon be updated with again new Android update.
But earlier as well the device made an appearance with Android 7.0 but the device never got the update. If Moto X Play gets this update then for sure it will be last update for it. As in the list of devices which will get Android 8.0 Oreo, this device does not find a place.
Well, whatever it is, what we can do is wait for Moto to send the update. Till, you guys can download Android 7.0 Nougat and enjoy the new features.
