Moto X Pure starts receiving Android 7.0 Nougat

Motorola seems to be working in the background to provide the Nougat to its key devices. Well, it sounds quite odd, that in the era of Android Oreo we are talking about the Nougat updates. But this is reality as late is always better than never. Due to openness of the Android Ecosystem and vast usability, it remain quite difficult for different OEMs to update every device to latest firmware.

Well, it’s better that Motorola has atleast provided the Android 7.0 Nougat which is much better than the Marshmallow. The new update is now rolling out to the┬áMoto X pure. Right now, few users have started receiving the update and others have to wait yet. It is rolling out to all the users and will eventually, it will take time to reach everyone around the Globe.

If you can;t wait, then you should try to manually check for the update. You can check manually by heading to the About Phone in the settings menu of your device.

There are lot new things that Android 7.1.1 Nougat packs split mode, efficient notification controls, improved Settings, better battery life and many other changes. It is a big update for the Moto X Pure and will help to regenerate the Moto X Pure once again.

Motorola has listed the devices that are going to get the Nougat. We expect the same kind of list for the Android 8.0 Oreo update.

Before proceeding for the update we suggest you to charge up your device up to 70% and switch over to the Wifi network.

  1. Get your facts strait: it’s not 7.1.1 for MXPE but only 7.0. You probably read a lot of other articles and mixed up Moto X Pure with Moto X Play which is rumored to be getting 7.1.1
