Moto Z Play starts getting Android 7.1.1 update along with June’s Security Patch

Motorola starts rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update on Moto Z play in US. Moto Z play becomes one of the few devices to get Android 7.1.1, before this Oneplus 3, Oneplus 3T and Nextbit Robin. Moreover, Along with this update Android Security patch for the month of June is also included.

Android 7.1.1 Nougat is packed with new multitasking features, more efficient notification controls and improved data saver and battery features. It includes some more security improvements in Android.

The update is currently rolling out in US. It might come very soon to other markets as well. We recommends you to charge your phone up to 50% before start installing.

Recently Moto X Play is also gets the Android 7.1.1 Update in India.
