Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen And Moto 360 Sports Unveiled

Following the success of Moto 360 watch last year, Motorola has announced successor of the the watch Moto 360 2 Gen at IFA 2015. This time they have also introduced new variant of watch known as, Moto 360 Sports.

Motorola announced two new smartwatches – the Moto 360 2nd Gen and the Moto 360 Sport. Both will launch until the end of this year. First discussing about

The new Moto 360, as Motorola likes to call it, comes with improved design and battery life, enhanced fitness tracking and it’s highly customizable. One of the best change we came to know is the placement of the physical button. Instead of the 3 o’ clock position on the first-generation smartwatch, the button on the new Moto 360 is at the 2 o’ clock position.

The regular (non-sport) model comes in both 46mm and 42mm options for men, and the women’s line comes in at 42mm.

The new 360 watch will launch worldwide very soon. As of tomorrow it will be available on pre-order in the USA via Motorola.com, Google Play Store and Best Buy. The retail price begins at $299.99 up to $429.99, depending on your configuration.

Moto 360 is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of on-board storage. The 46mm option comes with a 400mAh battery and a 1.56-inch LCD display with 360 x 330 resolution, while both 42mm variants come with a 1.37-inch LCD display with 360 x 325 resolution. Both sizes are covered in Gorilla Glass 3.

The Moto 360 Sport on the other hand is aimed at athletes and fitness enthusiasts, and features an ‘AnyLight’ hybrid display, making it better at sunlight legibility, apart from built-in GPS, and a waterproof silicone body.

Motorola is yet to detail the pricing and availability of the Moto 360 Sport. Specs wise it is same as that of Moto 360 2nd Gen.
