Motorola Moto G5, which came in the March 2017 is seen with Android 8.1 Oreo on Geekbench. The latest appearance with Android 8.1 via Geekbench is rising up expectations of the users. It means that users will definitely get the Android 8.1 on their Moto G5 2017.

As of now, we have no confirmed reports that the Moto G5 will get the update or not. Moto G5, XT1670 is spotted running the Android 8.1 on the Geekbench, on the basis of it we are expecting it to arrive globally soon.

Overall, we can say that the Moto G5 lineup is soon going to get the Android Oreo. As the testing of the Oreo build is in works we expect the update for both Moto G5s and Moto G5s Plus also.
