Google made many important announcements at the recently concluded Google I/O, but one news that got everyone excited was that Google Now would soon offer multi-language support. But going by Google’s recent news via CNET, it’ll be a while before we’ll get to see that feature.
Google recently confirmed to CNET that the multi-language feature that was supposed to roll out on Google Now will be delayed. Reason? Google says that some bugs were detected in the final stages of testing of the new feature.
As of now, Google Now is only capable of recognizing one language at a time and in order to it to detect another language, you have to change the app’s settings. This could prove to be a problem when the phone is shared by two people who speak different languages.
