The American entertainment company, Netflix had given a great welcome gift for Sony’s Xperia XZ1. The HDR capable device launched last week is now supported for streaming HDR contents on Netflix. Consequently, appearing in the list of only a few Netflix HDR supported devices.

Similar to the Amazon Prime Video. Netflix is one among a handful of video streaming app services that provides HDR as well as Dolby Vision support. Recently, Netflix had initiated expanding its HDR supporting devices list. As a result of it, the Galaxy Note 8 and the LG V30 were newly added along with the first Netflix HDR compatible Sony Xperia Z Premium. As well as the LG G6, the one and only one supporting HDR cum Dolby Vision on Netflix. And in latest, Sony Xperia XZ1 making its way into the list.
Definitely, it’s a remarkable achievement for Xperia Z1. After all, Samsung flagship devices such as Galaxy S8/S8+ and Tab S3 are still now incompatible with the Netflix’s HDR nor the Dolby Vision. Even Though, both the Samsung devices possess exquisite HDR capable displays.
The Sony Xperia Z1 is set to hit on the shelves probably at the end of this month.
