New feature split screen now available for Chrome OS

Usually devices with Chrome OS usually have this feature called ‘Tablet mode’, but for ones which have touchscreen. This feature can be used for the devices with large screens like tablet where you can use multiple apps. Which means multiple apps at one time side by side. But it was missing in tablets. But now this feature has been added.

Now if you have a Chrome OS on your tablet you can use multiple apps at a time side by side. But the question is very few people know about this feature.

To get this feature over your device you need to Dev Channel for version Chrome 64. To enable this feature of split screen you need to simply enable a flag. That can be done over chrome://flags/#enable-tablet-splitview. Now the next step is to click the overview icon which is in the corner. Then you need to select the app and drag it to the side of the screen.

Well, one thing that needs to be kept in mind that this feature isn’t available for Android apps on Chrome OS. This feature is only for chrome window apps. Well, but don’t be sad about it guys. They might add this feature in near future. Till then you guys enjoy this feature.
