Nexus 6P receiving Android 8.1 Oreo update

Google has started to rollout the latest and the greatest Android 8.1 Oreo update to the Nexus 6P. Currently, it is rolling out in India and for other countries we can’t confirm. Well, the 534 MB update is on a roll and will be reaching your Nexus 6P very soon. If you have already received the update, you can let us know abou the major changes via comment form below.

If we talk about the Android 8.1 Oreo features, then the major ones are autofill enhancements, battery indicator for Bluetooth connected devices, memory fixes, HDR+ camera features, AI integration in imaging and many other fixes for bugs.

Above mentioned all the changes are going to take place in your Mobile device after the update. The above AI part is only available for Pixel devices, the Nexus 6P is not eligible for this feature.

There are many other changes that are going to take place after the update. We suggest you to wait for the update if you have not received it. Either, you can also check for the update manually by simply going to the settings menu and then hovering over to check for the update option.

Also, we suggest you to switch to WiFi networks to save some additional costs on your carrier network.
