We already know a lot about Nokia 2, the upcoming entry-level smartphone from Nokia. Must say, all credit goes to the rumors and leaks we came across in the past few weeks. We have spotted the all-new budget smartphone in the press images, courtesy of @evleaks more than a month ago. In the meantime, the smartphone with model number TA-1035 has now been listed in the US and is modestly priced at $99.
Most recently, Nokia 2 has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking site confirming the rumored specs. The smartphone features a 720p display and is powered by Snapdragon 212 SoC and Adreno 304 GPU. The entry-level device comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage capacity.
In the camera front, the smartphone boasts an 8MP primary camera with a 5MP selfie shooter. The smartphone packs quite decent specs considering its $99 price in the United States. According to previous rumors, the smartphone is expected to pack a large 4,000mAh battery which is quite impressive in this price tag. Furthermore, Nokia 2Â will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will soon be updated to Android Oreo.
HMD has recently announced an event scheduled for October 31 in India. The company is most likely to introduce Nokia 2 as a worthy contender to face-off other entry-level smartphones.
